More about this project

The Rose in June dates back to the mid 19th century and has long been a local favorite and ideal fo those passing through omn the way to the nearby Winter Gardens.

Working with our much-valued and regular customer Shepherd Neame we carried out the design and build of a trade kitchen.
This small kitchen needed careful planning to create adequate working space.

Our involvement on this project started many months before the main contractor started work as the new kitchen extraction system had to be passed by the local planning authority first. We assisted with the planning application by carrying out a background noise survey and completing and extract design and building elevations.
As expected in a mixed residential area the planners required the incorporation of both noise and odour control measures.

Once the extraction canopy and ductwork had been completed we next installed Upvc hygienic cladding to all surfaces in the kitchen other than under the extract canopy where stainless steel wall cladding is a requirement.

Two days of plumbing and appliance installations completed this small but perfectly formed commercial kitchen.
