Dover College based in Kent is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 3 to 18 years of age. We offer a vibrant national and international community and are committed to academic excellence and providing a holistic education.

The College sits in idyllic surroundings in the grounds of a 12th Century Benedictine Priory with its stunning refectory hall next to the large kitchen.

We were contracted to install a new and compliant extraction system to their aging kitchen which was the first stage in bringing the kitchen up to current regulatory standard for gas safety and at the same time improving energy efficiency, hygiene and extraction noise levels. 
As the kitchen was lacking a three-phase power supply nearly all appliances had to be gas-powered so an efficient kitchen ventilation system was installed to effectively clear combusted gasses.

Once the new extraction system was in place we installed a new 20 grid Rational combination over which was quite a challenge to get into the kitchen, along with some modern Blue Seal 6 burner range ovens a new griddle and grill.

All of our works had to be completed in a limited time during a half-term but was all completed on time.
