More about this project

Mote Park is a 440-acre multi-use public park in Maidstone, Kent. Previously a country estate it was converted to landscaped park land at the end of the 18th century before becoming a municipal park. It includes the former stately home Mote House together with a miniature railway and a boating lake.

Working with our regular customer Robert from Riverside Caterers we were asked to install the commercial kitchen and serving area.
This new build cafe in a prime location provided its own challenges, a lack of storage, a small kitchen, small customer serving area and an interesting design that meant there was not one 90 degree corner in the kitchen led to some imaginitive stainless steel design.

Our build responibilites started with a commercial extraction system that resulted in the addition of a second windcatcher to the roof of the building. Once completed we concentrated on Upvc wall cladding and slip resistant flooring.

We provided all stainless steel fabrications, Blue Seal commercial cooking appliances, commercial refrigeration and a dishwasher area.
The small servery area received a stainless steel servery which was topped with a Corian work surface and clad with wood panelling to the front.  At the rear we tiled with white metro tiles and constructed a matching high level pelmet.

An interesting and fun project for a customer that was liked by all and we wish him and his team every success.
