Deal pier kitchen had been closed down for over a year before we were asked to become involved in the refurbishment.

This is a site that we knew well as had worked with the previous business and the local council over the years.

New business owners Tim and Rebecca came from different backgrounds within the hospitality industry, one experienced at catering for large numbers and the other from an innovative street food background.

Coincidentally we had previously stripped out the old kitchen prior to the new owners moving in so we already knew the space well.
Our job now was to redesign the space and make ready for a new young and vibrant business offering good quality locally sourced food and drink at this iconic Deal landmark location,

We provided a new extraction canopy with an Ansul fire prevention system followed by adding Bioclad hygienic wall cladding, Altro slip-resistant flooring and a wipe-clean suspended ceiling.
This was followed by the supply and installation of Blue Seal and Rational cooking appliances, a Maidaid dishwasher and a number of Foster fridges.
The location did not cause us any logistical issues but did provide plenty of exercise as we had to walk a number of large appliances the length of this 350m pier.
