Project Overview: New Kitchen Build for The Ridge Golf Club 🏌️‍♂️✨

The Ridge Golf Club, a well-established venue recently acquired by new owners Jack and Sophie, commissioned us to design and build a brand-new kitchen at the opposite end of the clubhouse. This new facility would replace their existing kitchen, which was to be decommissioned and repurposed.

The kitchen had to be versatile—supporting the club’s daily à la carte menu as well as evening functions for their upcoming ballroom and function room currently under construction.

Overcoming Key Challenges: Gas Supply Installation Without Disruption 🔧⛔🔊

• The existing gas supply needed diverting approximately 50 metres through loft space located above a busy call centre

• Minimising noise during 9–5 business hours was critical, requiring careful planning and early morning work sessions

• After diligent effort, the new barrel gas pipework was successfully installed, ready for the kitchen switchover without disrupting call centre operations

Hygienic & Safe Kitchen Build: Walls, Flooring & Ventilation 🧼🛠️

• Customer provided a newly built studwork and plasterboard room as the kitchen shell

• We installed:

  • Bioclad UPVC hygienic wall cladding for easy cleaning and durability

  • Altro slip-resistant flooring for safety in a busy kitchen environment

  • A 5-metre commercial extraction canopy equipped with an Ansul fire suppression system to ensure safety and compliance

Plumbing, Equipment Supply & Installation 🚰🍳

• Complete plumbing installation carried out by our expert team

• Supplied and installed a full range of professional kitchen equipment, including:

  • Walk-in cold room for ample cold storage

  • Dedicated pizza preparation area for menu diversity

  • Comprehensive cookline featuring Blue Seal and Rational appliances for high-quality food preparation
