Folkestone College is part of the EKC Group and based in Kent. This was a brand new building built from the ground up, from a muddy puddle to one of the best purpose deisgned eduational facilities in Kent.

We worked alongside EKC and the main contractor WW Martin to deliver not one but two commercial kitchens.
Both kitchens have full commercial extraction systems with tempered air intakes that works in conjuction with the buildings heating systems. And these of course comply with new modern regualtions.

There was also Biocald UPVC walls and Alto non slip flooring. We also furnished the colleges student servery.

We were pushed hard to come with inivative ideas in saving project money as well as being mindful to the enviroment and enuring systems for grease management.

We used a mixture of existing and new equipment again to keep costs under control.

This was a most challenging project lasting 16 weeks. The College were rightfully very demanding but we were certainly up to the task, delivery not one but two state of the art teaching commercial kitchens.
