A cosy, family-run English restaurant and hotel – the perfect place to eat, drink, and stay.
Located in the heart of the charming village of Worth, Kent, we take pride in serving delicious, locally sourced seasonal food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
After a meeting with Tom the new owner we were contracted to produce run a design and build project that made the most of the existing small kitchen space.
Fortunately additional space was provided with the conversion of an adjacent small store room space that became a much needed separate dishwasher and preparation area.
As the building was undergoing a major long term fit out our coordination with other contractors onsite was vital but a little drawn out due to waiting on an site electrical network upgrade.
Our first task was to clad the walls of the kitchen and new dishwasher room with UPVC hygienic wall cladding, followed by preparing the floors ready to accept slip resistant vinyl flooring.
Once the shell was complete the next step was to install an new extraction ventilation system designed to be quiet and efficient and make cleaning easy.
The design called for high quality energy efficient cooking equipment so Cooktek induction hobs and Rational combi ovens were the obvious choice.
As space was limited providing as much worktop space as possible was the key to making this kitchen design work – Fortunately an external walk in cold room solved some of the space issues.
With the kitchen installed with then supplied the full range of kitchen accessories, pots pans utensils light electrical equipment.
Our final task was to supply and install bar equipment from Meiko and Ice machines from Scotsman and Hoshizaki.
