Located close to the picturesque Saltwood Village Green, Balgowan House was originally built over 100 years ago as an impressive family house. With the addition of later extensions, the building now provides a warm and friendly environment in which to reside and enjoys a comfortable and distinctly family feel.

Our task was to strip out the old domestic style kitchen and replace with new stainless steel furniture, a pass through dishwasher, and hygienic walls & floors.

This job was originally planned for March 2020 but with the extra measures that care homes had put in place due to Covid it was decided that we should delay.Our team were finally allowed on site in July but with additional measures to ensure theirs and the residents safety was not compromised.

A simple job but one that had to go without a hitch as we were given five days to complete with an 8am start on Monday and a Friday afternoon handover, something we completed with an hour to spare, so really very tight and the team worked hard to achieve this,

The end result, as can be seen from the photos below, is a bright and easy to keep clean dishwasher room with an efficient machine to help the staff finish washing up after meal times much quicker.
