About Us
Who We Are?
Designing & Building Beautiful, Efficient Commercial Kitchens
At Kent Commercial Kitchens, we specialise in the design and installation of stunning, functional, and high-performance commercial kitchens tailored to the needs of every client.
Founded by two partners with extensive backgrounds in hospitality and complementary industries, we bring a unique combination of insider knowledge and cross-sector expertise to every project. We’re proud to be a family-run business, with a close-knit team that includes a husband and wife, brothers-in-law, and two sons. The rest of our 15-strong team feels just like extended family—loyal, dedicated, and passionate about what we do.
We’re based in Kent, where over 90% of our work is carried out, although we also serve clients in London and the surrounding counties. Our local roots run deep—all our staff live and work in Kent, and we’re proud to support businesses across the region.
Our kitchen designers have over 20 years of industry experience and hold both CFSP (Certified Food Service Professional) and IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) certifications. Our fitters are factory-trained and highly skilled, while our engineers are fully qualified in gas, electrical, refrigeration, and water systems—meeting all the technical and safety requirements of the catering industry.
Kent Commercial Kitchens is a trading style of Advantage Catering Equipment Ltd, an award-winning catering equipment supplier based in Kent. We’re proud members of CEDA and ENSE, and uniquely, we are the only Kent-based commercial kitchen specialists to hold all three ISO accreditations, demonstrating our commitment to quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

We are a little unusual in our sector in that all of our works are carried out in house from initial contact through to project handover. Within our multiskilled team we have the following
- EKitchen CAD designers
- EProject managers
- EProduct specialists

Meet the Team
Nick
General Manager
Nick is one of the founding members of Kent Commercial Kitchens. He deals with customer sales and post installation maintenance contracts. He is partial to hobnobs and for some reason no one understands refers to himself as studmuffin.
Dean
Senior Technician
Dean has been with us for many years now. He is a very skilled catering engineer and a good problem solver. He does share a fairly common trait with other engineers in that he does like to have a bit of a whinge!
Sharon
PL Accounts Manager
Sharon pays the bills and keeps us all on order with various compliance systems and certifications. She generally will not function correctly without copious supplies of black coffee and is very fond of lemon drizzle cake!
Lee
Service Team Member
Lee is also a long standing team member who is just as comfortable in the office helping service customers on the phone as out in customer premises repairing or servicing equipment, as long as it’s not too early in the morning.
Jenson and Lewis
Goodwill Ambassadors
The scourge of any visiting rep wearing a dark suit our two labradors provide a vital role of ‘hoovering up’ cake crumbs, letting us know when someone is at the door and generally cheering us up when its a tough day in the office.
Simon
Project Manager
Simon is one of the founding members of Kent Commercial Kitchens. He deals with kitchen design, equipment specification, project management and will always be onsite during installations. He has a bit of OCD when it comes to jobsite, workshop and office tidiness.
Nicole
Service Admin
Nicole is the person that our service customers will speak to when something is broken.
She coordinates our hard working team of catering engineers making sure they get failed catering appliances back up and running as soon as possible.
