Additionally, The Rose and Crown is a busy country pub and restaurant in Hartlip, near Sittingbourne — lounge, public bar, restaurant and landscaped garden. Furthermore, Owners Sharon and Adrian appointed KCK to carry out a full strip-out and refurbishment of the kitchen, which had all the hallmarks of a traditional older pub kitchen: plaster walls and terracotta tiled floors throughout.

Moreover, The brief was a complete overhaul — surfaces, ceiling, extraction, equipment and fabrication — and to return the kitchen on the originally scheduled date despite a tight programme. Also, Three weeks, entirely in-house.

Full kitchen refurbishment in 3 weeks

Strip-out, surfaces and ceiling

Specifically, complete strip-out of the existing kitchen — plaster walls and terracotta tiled floors removed. In particular, bioclad antibacterial UPVC wall cladding installed to all surfaces — easy to clean and compliant for food preparation. Also, altro Stronghold slip-resistant vinyl flooring throughout. Therefore, suspended ceiling grid fitted with LED lighting, improving both the working environment and the appearance of the space. Indeed, plumbing works carried out as part of the programme.
