What we did
Extension and full fit-out in 3 weeks
Structural extension and building works
Therefore, A church kitchen installation Ashford for Ashford.
First, the wall was removed between the kitchen and adjacent store room following structural engineer sign-off. In particular, walls and ceilings were then made good throughout. Also, uneven floors excavated and levelled to provide a solid base for new floor finishes and equipment installation.
Electrical rewire and gas pipework upgrade
Furthermore, a full electrical rewire to current standards was carried out to support the new kitchen layout and appliance load. In particular, gas pipework throughout the building was upgraded by our Gas Safe registered engineers — the existing supply was undersized for a commercial cooking setup and therefore needed bringing into compliance before any gas appliances could be installed.
Hygienic wall cladding and safety flooring
Specifically, for the surfaces, Bioclad UPVC hygienic wall cladding was installed throughout the kitchen — easy to clean, moisture-resistant and appropriate for a community hall kitchen under EHO inspection. Additionally, Altro Stronghold slip-resistant safety flooring was laid across the full floor area.
Equipment, extraction and security
Additionally, for the cooking suite, we installed a Parry gas range as the anchor. In particular, an extraction canopy was then fitted above the cookline. Also, stainless steel benches and sinks throughout. Therefore, maidaid dishwasher, Gram refrigeration and Zip Instanta water boiler. Finally, a fire-rated roller shutter was installed at the kitchen entrance for out-of-hours security and fire compartmentation.
