The Masonic Club reached out to us to discuss a full renovation of their longstanding kitchen. Although the kitchen was remarkably clean and had served the club well over the years, it was clear that the space was in urgent need of a modern upgrade to meet today’s standards and future demands.

We worked closely with the club through a detailed consultation and design phase. Our goal was to create a layout that:

Full Strip-Out & Removal of Outdated Equipment 🧹🚛

The project began with the careful dismantling and disposal of most of the old kitchen appliances, including prime cooking equipment dating back to the early 1970s. We also removed the worn vinyl flooring and outdated aluminium extraction canopy to prepare the kitchen for its transformation.

Installation of Modern Extraction & Hygienic Surfaces 🌬️🧼

To elevate the working environment, we installed:

• A new island extraction canopy featuring noise-reducing technology to minimise disruption

• A central services spine to streamline utilities and maintenance

• Full wall cladding with Bioclad hygienic uPVC panels, which are easy to clean and highly durable

• Altro Stronghold slip-resistant flooring, ensuring safety in a busy commercial kitchen

• A wipe-clean suspended ceiling with energy-efficient LED flat panel lighting

These upgrades combine to create a bright, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment that is both hard-wearing and simple to maintain.
